Join us on International Elliptical Cycling Day in Richmond, VA, July 13, 2019, for a day of ElliptiGO riding and socializing along the Virginia Capital Bike Trail.

Rentals: Participants must provide their own ElliptiGO/bike or make their own arrangements to borrow or rent one. Rentals will not be provided or coordinated by GERC.
Group ride: All levels welcome; no rider left behind!! The group will have a lead GO and a sweep GO. The route is out and back, ending at the start location.
This is a self-supported ride. Please bring water, extra tube, tools and make sure your GO is ready to ride.

9:30-10:00AM – Riders gather at our meet-up location:
Virginia Capital Trail Richmond Trailhead in Great Shiplock Park along the James River. Day parking and restrooms are available.
10:00-1:00 – 26-mile group ride heading southeast along the Virginia Capital Trail. We’ll take a break and re-group at the halfway point at The Fork on 5 Street Market, a cafe and gallery offering snacks, restrooms, and outdoor seating right along the trail. The route has a modest incline near the beginning and after the turnaround but is appropriate for all levels.
1:00-2:00PM – Post-ride lunch and socializing at Station 2, an eating and drinking establishment in an 1899 firehouse. Close to the ride start and finish.
2:00-4:00pm – (Optional) 24-mile afternoon group ride for those interested in a 50-mile day.
4:00-5:00pm – Post-ride socializing at Stone Brewing Tap Room, close to the ride finish.
