Join us on Saturday, August 31, 2024 for a day of ElliptiGO riding and socializing along Chicago’s Lake Michigan waterfront. If you want to make a weekend out of it, stay for Sunday’s Bike the Drive!

- Participants who are not annual Club members will be given a free one-day membership upon registration for the event

Group ride: All levels welcome; no rider left behind!! The group will have a lead GO and a sweep GO. This is a self-supported ride. Please bring water, extra tube, tools and make sure your GO is ready to ride.
Rentals: Participants must provide their own ElliptiGO/bike or make their own arrangements to borrow or rent one. Rentals will not be provided or coordinated by GERC.

10:00-10:30AM: Riders gather at our meet-up location: by the fire pits on the patio in front of McCormick Place.

10:00AM-12:30PM: 22-mile group ride Very little road riding, this ride will almost all be on the Lakefront Trail along the Lakeshore Drive. Leave McCormick Place and head to the trailhead riding to Northerly Island up to the Navy Pier past the beach to Lincoln Park Zoo north around the park and then back south to stop for photos at the Bean and Buckingham Fountaine back to McCormick Place.
