Pre-registration is required:

  • Free for GERC members
  • If you are not already a GERC member, registration for this event will also initiate a free one-day limited Club membership covering the day of the event.

Group ride: All levels welcome; no rider left behind!! The group will have a lead GO and a sweep GO. This is a self-supported ride. Please bring water, extra tube, tools and make sure your GO is ready to ride.
Rentals: Participants must provide their own ElliptiGO or make their own arrangements to borrow or rent one. Rentals will not be provided or coordinated by GERC.

9:00-9:30AM: Riders gather at our ride meet up location:

There is free parking in Java Junction’s lot, metered parking on the street, and additional free parking in the dirt lot across the street.

9:30AM-Noon: 20 mile group ride.

We will start at Java Junction for coffee and tea for those interested. The ride will cruise past the Santa Cruz Boardwalk and wharf and then onto Westcliff drive, taking in the breathtaking ocean views all along the coast. We’ll turn around at Wilder Ranch State Park.

The return route is a combination of a new bike path, hugging the coast, then out and back the along the downtown levee, finishing up at Tramonti Italian restaurant. Tramonti has a lovely outdoor patio and is located across the street from our Java Junction meet-up point.
