Join us on Friday, August 27th, 2021 for an afternoon of ElliptiGO riding and fun in Troy, Ohio. For even more fun, stay overnight and join Saturday’s Tour de Donut!

Group ride: All levels welcome; no rider left behind!! The group will have a lead GO and a sweep GO. The route is out and back, ending at the start location. This is a self-supported ride. Please bring water, extra tube, tools and make sure your GO is ready to ride.
Rentals: Participants must provide their own ElliptiGO/bike or make their own arrangements to borrow or rent one. Rentals will not be provided or coordinated by GERC.

Parking is available at the start.

4:00-6:00pm: Group Ride. Beginning at The Square in downtown Troy, we’ll head north on N Market street across the Great Miami River, and then turn left to connect to the Great Miami River Recreational Trail. We will continue on this beautiful trail with scenic views of the Great Miami River, thru pretty wooded areas, past two historic locks and historic twin arches. We’ll then continue north for 10 miles to the edge of Piqua, stop for a coffee/muffin break at Winans Chocolate & Coffee. Finally, we’ll head back south to Troy, finish at Ducky’s Snowballs & Ice Cream for a famous Quackwich.

The total distance is just under 20 miles. It is fairly flat with one bridge that must be walked across.

6:00pm-?? Food, music, and Tour De Donut packet pick-up. The streets around the square will be closed to car traffic, and there will be food trucks and music in the evening. Tour De Donut registration and packet pick-up is also available.
