Join us on Sunday, March 15, 2020 for a day of ElliptiGO riding and socializing in Tucson. If you want to make a weekend out of it, come early for Saturday’s Tour de Cookie!

Rentals: Participants must provide their own ElliptiGO/bike or make their own arrangements to borrow or rent one. Rentals will not be provided or coordinated by GERC.

Group ride: All levels welcome; no rider left behind!! The group will have a lead GO and a sweep GO. The route is out and back, ending at the start location.

This is a self-supported ride. Please bring water, extra tube, tools and make sure your GO is ready to ride.

9:30AM-12:30PM – 32 mile group ride (or shorter since it’s out and back) starting at the east side of Brandi Fenton Memorial Park and heading east on the Rillito River Path until it joins the Pantano River Path where the ride will continue to the turnaround point at the intersection of Valencia Rd. It is an easy ride on multi-use pathways, gently uphill on the way out with only a couple street crossings. Approximately 725 feet of elevation over the 32 miles. See route detail here.

1:00 – 3:00PM – Social gathering at Tucson Hop Shop, 3230 N. Dodge Blvd., Tucson, AZ, about 1/2 mile from the ride finish.
This is one of Tucson’s coolest pubs, low-key, and bike friendly. They don’t serve food, but you can bring your own in and there is a pizza place next door to order from if that is a preference.

8:00AM-noon – Join many ElliptiGO riders and thousands of cyclists for the annual Marana Rotary Club Tour de Cookie! Information and registration here. The ride generally goes west (out and back) on the Rillito River Path starting at the Rillito Race Track, so there would be no duplication of our Sunday ride route.

11:50AM-2:00PM: After Tour de Cookie, for those interested, meet for lunch at:
