Join ElliptiGO riders of all levels from across the country for a weekend of riding, socializing and FUN! (See who was there!)

Choose 1 of 3 routes each day depending on how you’re feeling; no rider left behind!! Middle distance & short distance routes will have a lead GO & a sweep GO. The Advanced, long route will be self-supported. All routes are either out & back or a loop so we start & end at the same location.

Required and optional steps:

1. (required). Pre-registration is required. Registration fee is $25 for Global ElliptiGO Riders Club members and $50 for non-members. Register for the Winter Classic here

2. (optional). There will be a limited number of ElliptiGOs available for rent. To reserve a GO, please send an email to keri@elliptigo.com.

3. (optional). The host hotels are the Sleep Inn and Hampton Inn and Suites, Scottsdale. To reserve a room, see additional details here.

5:30-7:30PM – Meet & Greet Hosted Happy Hour / Welcome Reception / Packet Pick Up:

HAMPTON INN & SUITES (Roadrunner Banquet Room) – 16620 N Scottsdale Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85254
Please join us for a casual hosted Happy Hour! Delicious appetizers, light desserts, beer & wine will be provided. Participants will also be able to pick up their goodie bags & event information packets. Non-riding guests of participants are welcome too!

Afterward the party continues for anyone interested in some informal late night eats & drinks (non-hosted) at The Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery (located across the same parking lot from the host hotels).

Breakfast on your own:

7:30AM-9:00 – Event participants/riders begin gathering at our ride meet up location:

*Rented ElliptiGOs will be transported to/from the rides each day. If you’ve rented an ElliptiGO, please plan to be at Big Earl’s well before your ride time.

8:00AM-12:30PM: Group #1 (Longer Distance/ADVANCED Route) leaves Big Earl’s promptly at 8:00AM

“Bartlett Lake” out & back: 45 miles / 4500 feet of elevation gain / lots of climbing – this is a physically challenging ride & will be self-supported without a lead or sweep GO! Choose this beautiful ride if you’re an experienced, conditioned climber looking for a challenge! You should be able to average 10mph including any necessary rest stops. Our goal is to have everyone back to Big Earl’s at 12:30PM for lunch.

9:30AM-12:30PM: Group #2 (Middle Distance/Intermediate Route) leaves Big Earl’s at 9:30AM

“Seven Springs” out & back: 25 miles / 2300 feet elevation gain / moderate climbing, rolling hills & a few short steeper hills in the 4 miles before the turn around point. Long, beautiful gradual descent on the way back!

9:30AM-12:30PM: Group #3 (Shorter Distance/Casual Pace) leaves Big Earl’s at 9:30AM

“Lone Mountain/Legend Trail” loop: 19 miles / 950 feet elevation gain / low grade incline first 4-5 miles. More stops to rest along the way and we’ll take our time!

12:30-2:30PM – Lunch, sand volleyball & socializing at BIG EARL’s (Guests of participants welcome)

3:30-5:00PM – Poolside lounging, etc., at Sleep Inn Scottsdale.

(Adult beverages & light snacks will be provided or BYO, but please no glass containers around the pool)

6:30-9:00PM – Group Dinner at:

10:00AM – Event participants/riders begin arriving at our ride meet up location: Note: Rented ElliptiGO’s will be transported to/from the rides each day.

(The trailhead has many hiking & biking paths for your family & friends to enjoy while you’re out riding with the group)

10:30AM-12:00PM – Group “Mixer” Rides – (flatter parkway, no intersecting roads, panoramic desert views)
Today is a much more ‘relaxed’ day. Cruise on a flatter road in an 8-mile loop or enjoy the bike path if you prefer. You can GO as much or as little as you like. Stop to take photos; do one loop or several loops; ride with one group or several different groups, ride with old friends or new friends…it’s really up to you! You’ll have the flexibility to change it up as much as you like. Just have fun and enjoy the ride with an amazing group of people!!

12:30-2:30PM – Tailgate Party! Bring your own lawn chairs if local or driving in….extras if you can for our out of town guests. Lunch & non-alcoholic beverages provided. (Guests of participants are welcome) **sorry – alcoholic beverages are not allowed at the trailhead**

3:00PM – Farewell for all of those traveling & driving home on Sunday

6:00-8:00PM – Casual dinner for locals and all those not traveling home until Monday:

(Guests of participants are welcome) A convenient walk across the parking lot from the host hotel, enjoy amazing fresh fish tacos (Maui style) and other fresh menu items. Coconuts is very casual so work out attire, jeans or even your PJ’s are all acceptable! They also have beer & wine and at least one good IPA on tap!

NOTE:  Food & drinks will be provided at the Happy Hours on Friday & Saturday and lunch at the Tailgate Party on Sunday.

Breakfast daily, Saturday lunch, and dinners are the responsibility of the participants & attendees. To ensure we have adequate support, enough space, food & servers to accommodate our group at the various activities, we will send out an RSVP request at the beginning of January to all registered participants.

**If you don’t have a vehicle for the weekend, it is your responsibility to pair up with someone for transportation to the ride locations & back to the hotel both days.
